OPEC oil production falls for a 3rd straight month: Platts - MarketWatch: "Oil production from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries fell by 120,000 barrels per day in October from a month earlier, to 31.08 million barrels per day, according to a Platts survey of OPEC and oil industry officials and analysts released Monday. Platts attributed the decline to output cuts in Saudi Arabia and Iraq. "OPEC output has now dropped over three consecutive months, but it would be a mistake to think that this might signal a move away from the group's market share strategy when ministers meet next month in Vienna," Margaret McQuaile, senior correspondent for Platts, said in a statement. She said the likelihood of a policy change is "pretty small.""
